1. Who can use dotrub
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Every account holder — member, independent provider or studio — must complete identity verification before reviewing, saving, reporting or publishing a listing. Browsing stays open to everyone.
2. Your account
Keep your credentials private and your details accurate. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, impersonate others, or put the community at risk.
3. dotrub is a discovery platform
dotrub lists and verifies independent professionals. We are not a party to any agreement, booking or payment made between a member and a provider, and we do not employ providers. Verification confirms identity and the checks shown on a profile — it is not a guarantee of quality, safety or outcome. Use your own judgement.
4. Listings and content
You keep ownership of what you publish and grant dotrub a licence to display it on the platform. Listings must be truthful, lawful and about services you actually offer. No illegal services, no sexual services involving anyone under 18, no trafficking, no content that belongs to someone else.
5. Reviews
Reviews must come from real experience. You may not review yourself, pay for reviews, or write reviews to damage a competitor. Providers can dispute a review; our team reviews disputes and may remove a review that breaks these rules.
6. Verified membership
Listing on dotrub is free. Providers may pay a monthly fee that covers the cost of checking their identity documents. The fee pays for the check, not the result: payment does not guarantee approval, and it never affects trust scores, review outcomes or search ranking on its own. If a provider stops paying, the listing stays live and only the Verified badge is removed.
6a. Paid placement
Providers may buy a City Boost: $7 places their listing at the top of their city's results for seven days, always shown with a Promoted label. Placement is advertising only. It never affects verification, trust scores, ratings, reviews or moderation decisions, and it does not imply any endorsement by dotrub.
6b. Messaging
Members may send one free message to each professional. To continue that conversation, the member pays a one-off $0.99 unlock for that professional; it never expires and covers no other conversation. Professionals never pay to reply, and payment has no effect on verification, ranking or moderation.
7. Refunds
Paid visibility is charged upfront for the period shown at checkout. If a promotion did not run as described, contact us and we will refund the unused portion. If we cannot confirm a provider's identity, the verification fee for that period is refunded in full and no badge is issued. Verification fees are otherwise not refundable once a submission has been reviewed.
8. Suspension and termination
We can suspend, unpublish or ban an account that breaks these terms, ignores our community guidelines, or harms other people. You can close your account at any time from your account page.
9. Liability
dotrub is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for interactions, agreements or losses arising between members and providers.
